Tim Cox (p.k.a. cartograph) has steadily become one of Australia's most in demand drummers, musical directors, and producers. With strong roots in jazz and improvisation, and exceptional skill in production and playback, Tim is always versatile and forward thinking in the way he approaches his craft. Tim has worked with a plethora of established artists and organisations across a wide variety of genres, including Woodes, KLP, Tom Iansek (#1 Dads, Big Scary), Ed Quinn (Telenova, Slum Sociable), D’Arcy Spiller, Eliza Hull, Don Glori, Parvyn (The Bombay Royale), Harper Bloom, & Elly Poletti (The Voice). With these acts and others, he has toured nationally and internationally, across the USA, Europe, Asia & Australia; performing at world-renowned festivals, including SXSW (USA), Splendour In The Grass, Meredith, The Great Escape (UK), Bigsound & Melbourne International Jazz Festival.


As a producer, Tim regularly collaborates with the aforementioned artists and many up and coming songwriters, working together to co-write, record and produce new works. The records Tim has contributed to have gone on to accumulate over 10,000,000 streams. They have also been played on various mainstream and tastemaker radio stations around the world, including Triple J, Fox, Nova, KCRW, NTS, and BBC Radio 1. These works have been released through a variety of record labels, from the mainstream to the underground, including Nettwerk (CAN), Mr. Bongo (UK), Believe, & Childhood Intelligence (GER). Tim has also collaborated with various major brands and organisations such as Netflix, Blackmagic Design, Live Nation, Patron Tequila, Hanes Australasia, & A2 Milk. These collaborations vary across sync licensing, performing & recording, and playlist curation.
