Flutterby records is a music company and social enterprise, specialising in PR, communications, content creation and campaign management.
Flutterby Records was founded by Hayley De Pledge (Harper Bloom) and Scott Horsburgh, two Melbourne-based creatives who bonded over their passion for creating influential identities through impactful storytelling and unique visual and sonic worlds.
Scott currently works as a full-time photographer with a background in graphic design creative direction, while Hayley is a singer-songwriter specializing in brand development for up-and-coming artists.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT:
We empower artists to shape their own culture by taking risks and breaking away from social norms.
Our focus is on developing woman, non-binary and LGBTQIA+ identifying artists.

The word ‘Flutterby’ is deeply emotive to us, due to Harpers personal experience long-term full-time caregiving to a highly intelligent and musical woman living with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease (who came up with the lyric ‘Flutterby’). Please consider reading about or donating to Alzheimers Association.
‘Flutterby’ also helped Harper recover from long term psychological abuse and coercive control by her client’s family whilst in the care giving role.
The coercive control of marginalised caregivers (as well as being illegal in several AU states), is incredibly harmful and insidious, with the abuse often being invisible to outsiders, making it even more difficult to recover from.
‘Flutterby’ is our anchor and an untouchable little piece of magic.
So, now we rise.
We help marginalized groups level up in the music industry and we make things happen.
